Educating one student at Azharul Uloom costs ₹70,000 a year. We collect only ₹35,000 from each student, and orphans and needy students receive full or partial concessions. Food, staff salaries, electricity and connectivity are large yearly costs, before any development work. Azhar has no fixed source of income; its strength is its well-wishers.
